Again, like the venom video, sony didn't ruined shit But I will say they had miss opportunities for this take on carnage as I think their are issues I have with him. But say sony "ruined" him like venom???? No not at all, he had a awesome design that still looked like carnage some similar yet new abilities that were cool, and generally he was just so fun to watch on screen, same with cletus kasady, I enjoyed this take on him. Really the only issues is obviously the bond between him and carnage, I wished over time maybe kasady and carnage become one with each other and we get the usually thing where the the two refer to themselves as "I" then "we" I don't mind the idea of kasady having some sort of feelings, especially towards scream as a love interest, i think it is oddly adorable in a weird twisted way as these two are just pyschopaths. But can get the issue of the whole bond thing. Honestly it be great to see the similar way as over time kasady would begin to push scream away as he enjoys the bloodshed and chaos that he is spreading more then her. Yes the voice i do have issues with, it is just too deep, if they were fully bonded it would have been cool to hear a somewhst higher voice but still having some of that deepness. And really they just shouldn't have killed him off, i know realistically venom would just kill him but it would have been great to see carnage be a recurring villain for this venom. Hell maybe a movie having elements of absolute carnage as carnage begins to take over earth and get stronger. Over those are just nitpicks but other then that he isn't ruined that your making it out to be :/

Yeah you can shut the hell up. Sony didn't ruin shit, I get not liking a version of a character which is fine, but saying like it is fact that Sony somehow ruins venom is just fucking ridiculous :/ Like I am big fan of venom and love pretty much any incarnations and I can sit here say venom in the venom movies is still good and enjoyable take on venom. Spiderman 3 venom isn't better and honestly the most random and forced in character in the film, if he had a different design, better motivation, and was saved for maybe a later film, sure maybe I can sit there and agree, but just because sony venom is like other versions, it isn't a bad thing or sony "ruined" him. He is harmless take on him and I am happy they leaned more of the goofier side of venom and anti hero sort of aspect then him being a villain. And honestly this is the only movies that I can deal with not having spiderman unlike the other garbage solo movies they have made of other characters :/

Owning media is great, but in reality nothings changed since the 80s and 90s. Ever since video stores became a thing there was no need to own the movie because most will watch something once. Instead of renting a video foe 3 days from blockbuster for $3 now people pay $15 and essentially get the samething with a vastly broader selection thats more convenient to access and a wider wi dow of time to access it.

Just tried this mod, because I killed Trashcan Carla after she stole my P.A. and became aggressive after I tried to take the fusion core back, so I wanted to resurrect her as well as a few other npcs. Didn't work. Not one bit. Even tried the Last Sandwich. Nothing. Playing on PS5, using the mod. Needs to be fixed, so that it'll work on PlayStation. Uninstalling until then, playing clean, no mods.

I completely agree. I was so excited for streaming, because I thought it would act as a great supplement to physical media and going to cinemas, like a triangle or resources all complimenting one another. It has turned out though, that streaming has/is devouring the other two points of the trinity, and it really gets me down. We used to have five cinemas in our city, now we have none. I used to be able to visit a number of stores to find what I wanted at the best price or the 2 disc or the extended cut, now (here in Australia) there are one or maybe two stores to visit. The quality, the basic ability to find on your shelf what streaming isn't offering or removed, or charging extra for on top of you subscription fee ar a few of my issues. The biggest is special features. When discs came out, I was blown away that the first movie I bought was Star Ship Troopers and that I was actually going to be able to listen to Paul Verhoeven do commentary while I watched the movie! WTF!!! Special features and commentary have always been sparse from older films because they didn't see the demand for them then but I NEVER thought commentary and special features would be dying off (and no, the VERY occasional special features on streaming are not enough, but at least disney has made some effort with the newer Star Wars series). I am a very nostalgic man, and it deeply saddens me that my seven year old son has never walked the aisles of a video store, been excited by new releases that are present that day and the anticipation of wanting to see it has brought, and spending relaxed time browsing through the weeklies to re-hire classics and take chances on unseen movies based on the the awesome covers, even if the movie turned out to be less fun than the cover art. The worst is that not only is streaming destroying physical media and cinema experiences, it isn't even absorbing it and greedily offering all it absorbs to take the sole profit. It is simply eating the other two aspects, excreting them and then flushing movies and features away that are never coming back. I do love streaming, don't get me wrong. To use my trinity example above, I feel like I have tree good friends and they all enrich my life in varied ways, but then one of those friends, the newest one, decides to scheme to break up the group and gets rid of the other two friends so that now the only friend I have is him, even though he doesn't replace what the other two brought to the table. Okay, maybe I prattled a bit there, but you get my point. Supplement= I loved streaming. Incomplete Replacement= I like streaming. Excellent video mate. We need more like you.

I just bought 5 older movie's from rarewaves which are not available on any streaming service (and even if they were I could only access them as long as I kept my subscription to that streaming service)

I was like 10 when I wanted to see this. Me and my stepdad made a deal, so I could see it opening day. 😂 All these years later I still find enjoyment out of it. I think my opinion on the films is, they’re not GOOD but they’re a LOT of fun. I respect your opinion a lot, and I understand your critiques. I personally liked the new dynamic personally. Making them more friends, than bitter vengeful ally’s. Sure the OG will always be better, but I love what they were trying to do. I agree 100% about the 4k discs and bluray etc. I have about 200 discs! But the you said the issue with games. Even buying the physical media doesn't solve the issue, now you need the disc AND the internet to play the damn thing. So buying the disc just ends up pissing us off and not solving anything. I am old school and when I bought my 1st ps5 disc and realized the full game wasn't even on the damn thing I decide I wouldn't buy anything anymore :( I own 3 PS5 discs and they are pretty much useless. I only play the free stuff from playstation plus or indie games. I assume if everyone did that it would help, but most people don't seem to care :(

I buy books and movies/series i think are worth a re-watch or read but theres not many movies after 2010 worth buying and most tv series worth buying now you cant buy its exclusive to streaming, and when it comes to games i primarily just use gamepass to play games i only buy games when they go on sale super cheap if i like them or ill buy a game if i know i will play it alot which theres not many of these and most of the ones i would buy i dont need to because Microsoft owns then very few of my favorites aren't now

Great video!! It’s hard to articulate these arguments in person and in text if you don’t do it succinctly. I’ve noticed a habit I’m happy with after 10+ years of collecting, is that streaming is great for the public accessibility. For the budget argument, there’s no better solution than streaming. Having a physical copy is a luxury, only get the ones that you couldn’t stand to not have. Pass over the ones that mildly appeal if you don’t have the expendable income. Don’t splurge for FOMO or because someone else told you it’s a rare copy. Buy things that are exciting and enticing to you AND your friends. Again, great video. You hit a lot of the points that matter to most people. Here’s hoping the companies see the opportunity to continue to make money off of people like us and to keep printing discs and cover arts.

i dont understand why people act like this is some conspiracy instead of a natural order of events that would occur under a broken economic system. even if the majority of consumers decided they want physical media, companies will always choose the cheaper option.

Honestly, I respect your opinion alot, I don't agree with everything and I enjoy both movies personally but you are right. I didn't wanna see Venom played as a comedy and if Venom matched with the others, they'd have to be a complete match so it kinda does feel like sloppy writing. I personally love Topher graces version, def my favorite but I don't think they ruined Venom, I think they just made a playful version of Venom and took their own spin on it so that it wasn't rated R or bc the mcu takes more of a comedic turn at times (Mainly Downey but wtv) and these aren't to give the movie its own excuses or anything but I think that's just how they wanted to work the character and I don't really have a problem with it

Carnage isn’t ruined. I have to elaborate on this. The mcu movies actually have an effect on the comics but Sonys movies don’t. Carnage was poorly represented but now we know that we can only go up from here and there will be a writer who’ll wants to redeem him.

Carnage's "death" is the worst decision in the movie because separating the 2 like they did for 1 DOES NOT MAKE ANY SENSE and 2 is NOT how carnage works. So when venom said they don't have a "perfect bond" clearly it was bs. But going back to the separation bs it makes no sense since they weren't bonded as 2 separate entitles, they were one and yet Venom was able to pull them apart and kill each of them separately.. God sony doesn't know jack shit when it comes to Spider-Man or anything related to it.

Then why are Spotify, Netflix and Apple Music so popular? Today's physical games are nothing more than unlock codes for the digital download any so you've all been scammed. Steam has been popular for many years now that PCs don't even need a disc drive to play games or install windows anymore. With the Steam Deck you can literally take your games on the road and NO NEED TO BUY TWICE. Digital is the future.

The idea of them saying we’re supposed to feel sympathy for Carnage is ridiculous. His whole appeal is that he is irredeemable and it shows they don’t understand why people like the character.

Star Wars is an unfortunate choice as the only versions you can find on modern physical media is the special editions. You have to turn to digital means of getting your hands on 4K77 and 4K80 or the Harmy's despecialized editions. Or you'll have to go and find the 2006 or VHS copies of the mostly unaltered versions of the Original Trilogy.

Carnage was wasted in this movie. Not making this movie rated r was the first big flop as carnage is a really violent symbiote even ripping limbs off of its victims. Carnage in the 90’s cartoons was amazing! Sadly Sony had to come in and mess it up. Real carnage from the books would not have died so easily as he is proven to be stronger than his father venom
